Jewellery care: All of our jewellery is made using genuine crystals/semi-precious gemstones. We use a variety of mixed metals as well as satin-style nylon cord when making our jewellery. We use hypoallergenic stainless steel. This is a durable and sustainable metal that is water-resistant and does not tarnish. We also use a range of Tibetan style silver tone charms. To keep your jewellery in great condition we advise that the following tips are followed. We do not recommend that you expose jewellery to prolonged contact with water or cosmetics. Whilst stainless steel is water-resistant, we also use other metals so it’s a good idea to limit contact with water. In general, it’s best to protect your pieces by avoiding too much water contact although stainless steel does handle water well. Please allow cosmetics to dry for at least 10 minutes before putting on. Jewellery is best stored in a jewellery box/airtight container and cleaned with a dry, soft cloth (a microfibre cloth is ideal). Whilst handmade to a high standard, each piece should be handled with care. Jewellery can be very delicate and it is advisable to avoid pulling it/rolling it on and off without unfastening it as this can weaken it.
Nickel safety: We use stainless steel which is a hypoallergenic metal, however, it does contain a small amount of nickel. Stainless steel is considered safe for sensitive skin. We also use silver plated components that contains less that 0.05% nickel in compliance with regulations allowing these metals to be classed as nickel-free as well as being lead and cadmium-free. We cannot 100% guarantee that trace amounts are not present and would advise caution if there is a known sensitivity.
